Description

You may find the Octopus in all Oceans worldwide. He has a soft body with a well developed brain (he is known to be intelligent) and 8 long arms (tentacles) with two rows of suckers each. To camouflage he is changing his skin colour and texture similar to its surrounding where he is living and hunting.

The Octopus bite his prey and is injecting a poisonous venom. In case of an attack he can scoot backward fast by shooting a jet of water mixed with ?black ink? to escape his enemy. The female Octopus lays up to 100.000 eggs. After 50 days they hatch and swim near the water surface. By the tidal and streams they get distributed in the oceans.
