THEME The Chinese Gods Mythology Series
brings to life the battle of mythical characters
from popular Chinese novel, Journey to The
West. The second coin in the series features
Sun Wukong, the Monkey King born of a stone,
who possess immense power. Sun Wukong’s
iconic compliant Golden-Hooped Rod and his
battle cloak are gilded in gold. He stands in
front of the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits in
preparation for a heavenly battle.

DESIGN The 2 oz fine-silver coin bears an
ultra-high relief effect in antique finishing that
brings to life the Monking King’s daunting awe.
The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley and is
legal tender in Niue. The coin is presented in a
matching thematic gift box.
