Description
In Slavic beliefs, Skarbek is an underworld-dwelling spirit who guards the natural resources and protects treasures hidden in the earth. He is a caring spirit of a coalmine, sympathetic to hardworking and honest people, but often vindictive towards the lazy and stingy ones. Skarbek gives the miners a helping hand when they get lost in the underground corridors.
