We are honored to present this powerful commemorative coin paying tribute to the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people. The design captures a poignant moment following the shelling of Mariupol: a Ukrainian veteran helps two children escape the devastation. The boy, holding the Ukrainian flag and his protector’s hand, looks back at the ruins of his home, while his younger sister is carried safely over the soldier’s shoulder—too young to grasp the gravity of the moment.

Both sides of the coin feature the same scene in ultra-high relief, offering two emotional perspectives. On the reverse, we see the figures walking away into the ruins. On the obverse, we face them as they emerge from the destruction—symbolizing endurance and hope.

Struck in 2 oz of .9999 silver, 45 mm, with antiqued finish and UV color printing, this 2024 issue from Cameroon (face value 2000 Francs CFA) is limited to 500 pieces, and comes with a box and certificate.
