Background information

Ancient warfare witnessed significant advancements in military strategies, weaponry, and organizational structures. Various societies influenced the evolution of warfare, with legions, cavalry, and naval forces playing pivotal roles in conflicts like during The Battle of Actium. These times set the stage for medieval warfare, introducing developments in siege tactics, armour, and weaponry that would define battles for centuries. The period’s contributions laid the groundwork for the intricate martial systems characterizing the ancient world, influencing the transformation of military practices in subsequent historical epochs.

Modern warfare, from the industrial era to the present, witnessed technological leaps. The 20th century brought mechanized warfare, airpower, and nuclear weapons. In the 21st century, warfare expanded into cyber realms, with nations engaging in complex digital conflicts. Artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and space-based capabilities shape the landscape of potential future warfare, posing new challenges for global security. As technology evolves, the nature of conflict continues to transform, necessitating adaptation in military strategies and international relations which, hopefully, results on world peace.

WAR HAS NO REAL WINNER. Not in the past, the now nor in the future.
