Description

The first coin of the new “Legendary Lands” series. It will be dedicated to the most interesting and mysterious places on Earth.
The first coin of the series is dedicated to the Atlantis.
To this day it is one of the lose sleep over of all seekers and explorers. It is a mythical land that was destroyed by earthquakes, which led to its sinking.
This land was located in various places on the globe. It was suspected to be at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, near Madeira or the Canary Islands.
The reverse of the coin depicts the escape of the people of Atlantis, at the time of the earthquake. The high relief reflects every detail, even the appearance of columns resembling Ionic columns. The armour of the warrior has been selectively gilded.
On the obverse, there is an image of a land sunken in the sea.
