The Camelot BU Edition – Arthur Pendragon Antique Finish coin is a premium 1 oz silver release struck in 999.9 fine silver and issued by Niue in 2023. As the first antique-finish entry in the Camelot BU Edition series, it reinterprets the high-relief Camelot design in a cleaner bullion style, free of background elements so the central battle scene can be fully appreciated. Selective colouring enhances Arthur and his knights on the reverse, while 24k gold plating highlights key heraldic elements on the obverse. The coin portrays King Arthur Pendragon, the legendary defender of the Britons during the early Middle Ages, celebrated for holding back Saxon and Anglo incursions and preserving the integrity of the Kingdom of the Britons. His mythic strength, leadership, and victories form the foundation of Arthurian lore, and this release pays tribute to that enduring legacy. The obverse features the round table design with the names and emblems of Arthur’s knights encircling Niue’s coat of arms.
