Vivien Leigh (November 5th, 1913 – July 8th, 1967) would have celebrated her 100th birthday in 2013. The British actress, who was born in India, is considered one of the great Hollywood legends.

When Vivien returned to London, at the age of seven, she was first sent to a catholic boarding school. She was a member of the theatre group as well as the school orchestra and took ballet and piano lessons. In this way her huge acting talent developed. In one of her early films she met her fellow actor Laurence Oliver and fell in love with him. They married in California in 1940.
