The city map of this vibrant metropolis with over 9 million inhabitants is struck in exquisite detail on the reverse of the coin. As with previous issues in the award-winning series, select buildings are highlighted, including two representatives of the «Five Great Palaces». The Hangang River, represented by a bright orange Tiffany glass, runs along the entire front of the coin and under the detailed Bangwha Bridge on the back. The 3-ounce edition is limited to 999 pieces, while the 1-kilogram edition has a mintage of only 99 pieces.
