Description

Hippocampi – half horse, half fish that , as the ancient Greeks believed, lived in the waters of the mythical world. Together with the Ichthyocentaurs, Tritons and Nereids, they formed the Poseidon’s entourage. According to legends, they saved people from sea monsters and brought help to sailors.
These extremely loyal and graceful creatures are associated with imagination and creativity due to their mythical status. They symbolise strength and agility, and sailors have considered them a good omen for centuries.
