Without a doubt, Albrecht Dürer is the greatest artist of the German
Renaissance. “Little Own” in watercolor was created in 1508 and was part
of a wider series of images of plants and animals. The author created the
illustration during the most fertile period of his life. The original work is in the
Albertina Museum in Vienna. A miniature reproduction on a silver blank is
a perfect complement to a true art connoisseur collection.
