Description

The Bird of Paradise is closely related to the crow species and 35 of the 43 types of species are known to inhabit New Guinea. Three species can also be found in the Mollucas and the remainder in Eastern parts of Australia.
The Bird of Paradise acquired its name when its remarkable feathers were brought to Europe by Magellan?s crew.
