symbolic depiction of Siegfried and Brunhild, inspired by a modern interpretation
of “The Song of the Nibelungs”.
Following the falling star, the heroes find it and fight for it, then fall in love with
each other and vow to meet again, taking the pieces of meteorite. This way, the
meteorite plays the central role in the story of Siegfried and Brunhild, and their
weapon made of pieces of unearthly material becomes a central relief element on
the coin.
Thanks to an unconventional idea and beautiful artwork, the coin tells us the story
